Alex Zawadzki and his wife Karin founded, own and manage In Light of Touch day spa in Beaverton, OR. Alex previously worked for seven years as a massage therapist at the Hyatt Regency Maui’s exclusive and renowned Spa Moana, the last two of which were spent as a principal/lead therapist. In the Fall of 2006, he and his family relocated to Portland, Oregon and opened In Light of Touch. Their mission: to maintain the same high level of service and relaxation clients receive at famous five-star spas, in a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere, and at reasonable prices.

Alex began learning Jin Shin Jyutsu in 1996. In 2002, he added the Cranio Sacral modality to his healing work. He typically applies both concepts in a single session, to the benefit of his clients.

In Light of Touch team members are experienced, professional therapists and estheticians who care about your mental, physical and spiritual health and wellbeing. Each one is committed to maintaining a supportive and expert environment that allows clients to relax and trust that they will leave refreshed and one step closer to balanced wellness.

In July 2011, In Light of Touch relocated (just a few blocks down Cornell), expanding from three treatment rooms to six. The staff is thrilled to be able to serve you better in this new, gorgeous space of calm, by offering new treatments (such as couples massage) and more room to relax.
